The Criminal Docket Call (Term Day) is when all trials are set. The docket is called on the day following the Grand Jury. The Criminal docket is called at 10 a.m. All attorneys of record, retained or appointed, must be present for docket call. All defendants who are on bond do not need to be present at docket call unless they do not have an attorney or have a direct indictment. Attorneys wishing to have another attorney answer docket call for them must have the permission of the Chief Judge prior to docket call.
