The Office of Community Safety (OCS) was created as part of the Community Safety Initiative, which was approved by the Prince William County Board of Supervisors in December 2022. The Office is committed to fostering safe and secure communities by developing prevention and intervention initiatives. OCS focuses on addressing the root causes of safety concerns to implement policies and programs that promote a safe community. The Office aims to maintain Prince William County as a safe and secure environment through collaboration between local government and our community.
