The Department of Public Safety Communications (DPSC) is the cornerstone of the County's comprehensive public safety system. The department facilitates the flow of information in a seamless and rapid manner, and provides aid, comfort and instructions to the public prior to the arrival of field resources. DPSC operates a 24-hour consolidated call processing and dispatch center for all 911 and non-emergency requests for the Police and Fire & Rescue services within PWC and the incorporated towns. Fire & Rescue calls are also processed and dispatched for the Cities of Manassas and Manassas Park.
