Are you considering making a modification to your home so it is more accessible for you or a loved one? Before you start, make sure you know what projects require permits. The "When do I Need a Permit?" brochure was created in partnership between the Disability Services Board and the Department of Development Services.
DISABILITY SERVICES BOARD
Originally established in 1978 as the Prince William County Committee for Persons with Disabilities (PWC CFPD), the Disability Service Board (DSB) is an advisory group to the Board of County Supervisors (BOCS) on disability issues. Its primary purpose is to recommend to the BOCS ways the County can be more responsive to the needs of citizens with disabilities.

WHERE DO WE MEET?
Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of every other month. Meetings are subject to change. Please call 703-792-6439 to confirm time and date and to request any need for special accommodations before attending. All meetings are held in Room 107A/B from 7-9 p.m. in the Development Services Building located at 5 County Complex Court, Prince William VA 22191. The meetings are open to the public and citizen input on disability issues is welcome. Rules of Procedure Revised June 2019
Next meeting is: Tuesday, December 3, 2024, 7:00 PM. The in-person meeting will be held at the Developmental Services Building, Room 107 A/B, 5 County Complex, Woodbridge, VA 22192.
