Medicaid & Medicare - Medicaid is a program that pays for health and medical care for certain groups of people with low incomes. The Medicaid program is administered by the local Department of Social Services in each city or county. Proof of identification, proof of income and other information are needed to apply.
Area Agency on Aging provides Adult Day Healthcare for qualifying residents. The program includes group-based activities, personal care, and health monitoring for adults aged 18 and older who cannot or should not remain at home alone during the day. The program also provides essential respite for caregiving families.
The Area Agency on Agency has two senior center locations at Manassas and Woodbridge. Senior centers are open weekdays for a wide variety of classes, programs and activities. Membership is open to persons 55 years of age and older and their spouses, regardless of age.
