The County Executive presented the Proposed FY2026 Budget Presentation to the Board of County Supervisors on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The proposed budget is currently available online in its entirety.
The Prince William Board of County Supervisors will hold two public hearings regarding the Proposed FY2026 Budget and tax rates in the Board Chambers of the McCoart Building on March 18 and April 8, 2025, at 7:00 PM. All residents and other members of the public may attend the public hearings in-person or participate remotely. The deadline to register to speak is 5 PM the day before the hearing.
Submit your questions about the Proposed FY2026 Budget to the Budget Q&A portal while there is still time. On Monday, April 7, 2025, at 5 PM the public questions/comment will end so Management & Budget may respond to Board member requests during budget markup and adoption. As always, the portal will remain online for viewing, but no new questions will be added or answered after April 7.
The advertised budget ads are scheduled to be published on March 20, 27 and April 3, 2025.
