Decorate Some Valentine’s Day Cookies
Children ages 3-5 can join this fun and yummy Valentine’s Day themed cookie decorating class that is sure to put a smile on your little Valentine’s face! Program takes place at Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center on Friday, February 14, with 2 sessions available—9:30-10:30 am or 11 am-12 pm. Register here.
Explore Winter in the Park
Come see what wintertime looks like at James Long Regional Park on Saturday, February 15 (10 am – 12 pm). Young children ages 5-10 can join a naturalist for a guided hike throughout the park’s various habitats to see what life is like for the animals and plants in the winter. This program is designed for children to attend with a parent or guardian. Fee is per child. Click here to register.
Zumba in Your PJs
Wear your favorite G-rated pajamas for this special couples-friendly Zumba Valentine's pajama jam! Class takes place at Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center. We will be celebrating love, Zumba, and so much more. Free for passholders of Dale City Recreation Center and/or Chinn. $12 drop-in fee for non-members. Take the Ultimate Music Class
Learn Now Music introduces participants to various musical instruments and concepts, including piano, guitar, violin, drums, voice, and movement. Children will participate in games, crafts, musical listening excerpts, related projects, and more. Free instrument rentals are provided to borrow (for in-class use; rental agreement must be signed). Instruments must be returned at the end of the program. The instruments for the AM session are the piano and drum, and the instruments for the PM session are the guitar and violin. Improve Your Pickleball Game
Build on your skills and master new ones to take your game to the next level with our pickleball classes. Paddles and balls will be provided, but having your own paddle is strongly encouraged. Tennis shoes are required. Prior level 1 or playing experience required for level 2 and 3 classes. Classes take place at Veterans Memorial Park courts and begin Monday, February 17. Elevate Your Pilates Practice
Develop confidence in your ability to use the Pilates Tower system in this class held at Dale City Recreation Center. Learn how to apply the Pilates Method to the Tower system, using safe techniques to ensure optimal stabilization and body alignment while performing the exercises with the proper resistance for core training, flexibility, strengthening, and lengthening of the muscles. The Tower will allow you to move differently, so it's a great way to expand your Pilates practice. Requires Pilates Reformer experience. Class takes place Saturday, February 22, 12:30- 2 pm. Experience a Carnival Celebration
Get ready to unleash your inner island spirit, and enjoy a celebration of Caribbean Culture, featuring uplifting Soca, Calypso, and Reggae Dancehall music. Come to Dale City Recreation Center dressed in your vibrant carnival attire and let’s have a blast! Take a Candlelit Yoga Class
Encourage mindfulness and unwind after your work week with this gentle, candlelit yoga class. After a gentle flow set to live acoustic guitar, head home feeling rested and relaxed. Register today to join us at Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center on Friday, February 28, from 7-7:55 pm.
Learn about Summer Camp Registration
Need a little help registering for Summer Camps? Join PWC Parks for "Summer Camp Preview”, a camp registration prep event. Prince William Parks & Recreation Camp Staff will be onsite to assist with any questions you may have. Stop by Dale City Recreation Center on Tuesday, February 25, any time between 5:30-7:30 pm, or Pat White Center at Ben Lomond on Wednesday, February 26, any time between 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Attend Our State of the Parks Event
Join us on Thursday, February 13, for a State of the Parks address by the Department of Parks and Recreation. Come hear from county staff about the progress made in implementing community goals for parks, trails, open space, and historic preservation.
