Tax Payments by Mail
The easiest way to mail a payment is to use the return address listed on the tax bill. Place the payment along with the tear-off return portion of the bill in the return envelope. Be sure that the mail to address is showing in the envelope window.
Please note that the County's remittance processing bank handles mail sent to PO BOX 70519, PHILADELPHIA, PA, 19176-0519. The return portion of the tax bill should accompany the payment as it includes the information the bank needs to complete the transaction.

Two Tax Administration offices are located in Prince William County. Offices are closed on weekends and County holidays.
DIRECTIONS TO COUNTY FACILITIES
Sudley North Government Center This is the most convenient taxpayer services location for residents and businesses in the Manassas, Gainesville and Nokesville areas. The Sudley North Government Center is located at 7987 Ashton Avenue, near the Bull Run Library.
James J. McCoart Administration Building (Office moving December 20)This is the most convenient taxpayer services location for residents and businesses in the Montclair, Triangle, Dumfries, Lake Ridge, Dale City and central County areas. The James J. McCoart Administration Building is located at 1 County Complex Court, near the Prince William County Parkway and Hoadly Road intersection.
Effective December 23, 2024: The Prince William County Tax Administration Office will relocate from the James J. McCoart Building to the Development Services Building (DSB) at 5 County Complex Court, Suite 140, near the Prince William County Parkway and Hoadly Road intersection.
