K-9 Gunner Memorial Dog Park
K-9 Gunner Memorial Dog Park will be closed from September 17 to October 20, 2024 for park improvements. We will be installing a ADA compliant paved path and steps leading up to the park. Stay tuned for updates.
Free and open to the public, this dog park is located at 13000 Minnieville Road, Woodbridge, VA. K-9 Gunner Dog Park is a community partnership project, which provides management and support by local volunteers. Prince William County Dogs maintains this park.
ALL DOGS MUST BE LICENSED AND HAVE UP-TO-DATE VACCINATIONS

FACILITY
- The park is 46,000 sq. ft. with a mix of grass and dirt areas.
- There are separate areas for small dogs and large dogs.
- Bench seating areas are available inside and outside the fenced areas.
- Parking is available.
HOURS
- Daily from sunrise to sundown.
RULES & REGULATIONS
- Dog Park is for the use of dogs & handlers only.
- Dog must be on-leash when entering and exiting the Dog Park.
- Children 8 yrs. and under not permitted in Dog Park; children under the age of 16 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult.

RULES & REGULATIONS
- Dog Park is for the use of dogs and handlers only.
- Dogs must be on a leash when entering and exiting the dog park.
- Handlers must be in the Dog Park area with dog, have leash in hand and have voice control over their dog.
- Handler limited to a max of 2 dogs.
- All dogs must have a current lincense and rabies and all other vaccinations, wear visible license and rabies tag.
- No choke, prong or spike collars.
- No female dogs in heat, no dogs under 4 months old.
- No aggressive dogs allowed. At first sign of aggression, the aggressive dog must be leashed and immediately removed from the Dog Park by handler.
- No food. No glass containers.
- Handler must "scoop the poop" and fill in any holes dug by their dog.
- Children 8 & under not permitted in the Dog Park; children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by adult handler.
- Use of facility is at own risk. By Entering the Dog Park, you agree to not hold liable Prince William County Parks & Recreation for any injury or damaged caused by any dog or handler in the Dog Park or adjacent parking area.
- Handlers are responsible for any injuries caused by the dog(s) under their control.
- Failure to abide by the Dog Park Rules may result in loss of privileges and/or possible ticketing in appropriate authorities.
