Office of Community Safety

Mission: 

The mission of the Office of Community Safety (OCS) is to cultivate a safe and healthy Prince William County through prevention and intervention initiatives. Guided by community engagement, research, and results, the OCS mission addresses the underlying factors that influence safety outcomes in our community. The Office believes in a community-driven approach to safety. Effective community safety is driven by the collaboration of our residents, local organizations, and local government working together to provide resources, preventative care, youth enrichment, and healthy spaces. OCS is committed to fostering a community where everyone is heard, everyone feels safe, and everyone has a place.
