Prince William County Launches New ‘Shorter Topics’ Vodcast Series to Showcase Innovative Projects and Solutions

Prince William County Government is launching Shorter Topics, a new vodcast series premiering Monday, March 3, 2025. Hosted by County Executive Chris Shorter, this engaging and easily digestible series will highlight key topics, innovative projects and groundbreaking solutions that enhance the county’s delivery of exceptional customer service to residents. 

The Shorter Topics vodcast is designed to provide quick yet insightful discussions on initiatives that directly impact the community. Each episode will feature in-depth conversations with content experts, county leaders and program managers who are revolutionizing the way services are delivered. With its tagline—Shorter Topics, Bigger Impacts—the vodcast aims to inform and engage residents by showcasing the incredible projects and people driving change in Prince William County Government.

"Shorter Topics is about putting the spotlight on the innovative solutions our teams are creating to provide the best possible service to our community.” 

The premiere episode will feature a conversation with Heather Baxter, Behavioral Health Program Manager for Community Services, offering a look at the impacts of the Prince William County Crisis Response System. Future episodes will continue to explore transformative initiatives that shape the county’s future. 

Shorter Topics will be released monthly and included in the Prince William County Community Newsletter, ensuring residents never miss an update on the county’s most impactful initiatives. 

Residents can watch Shorter Topics on the county’s YouTube channel, as well as on Comcast Channel 23 and Verizon Channel 37. The podcast version will be available for streaming on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, making it easy for residents to stay informed anytime, anywhere.
