Learn About Community Services at Potomac Library, June 6

single news

Potomac Library welcomes the public to its Community Services Fair on Tuesday, June 6, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. This year’s event will bring together library staff, Prince William County government agencies, and local nonprofit organizations to share how they can provide support and information about public assistance programs and services.

While library staff are available to provide contact information for those interested in learning more about community services, this Community Fair allows residents to meet directly with representatives to learn more. Representatives from Prince William Social Services, Virginia Cooperative Extension, and Inova, among others, will provide information about their programs and services.

Other organizations in attendance will provide information for all ages, including Prince William County Public Schools for school-aged children and the Virginia Cooperative Extension – Prince William, which offers local programs and volunteer opportunities in Prince William County.

The community is encouraged to come to Potomac Library at 2201 Opitz Blvd., Woodbridge, VA 22191, any time between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. to meet face-to-face with representatives in an informal setting. Visit the Events Section of pwcva.gov/library for a list of organizations scheduled to be at the Community Fair.
