FFM Internship & Apprenticeship Program

 

 

 

The Department of Facilities & Fleet Management (FFM) contributes to the future workforce by administering Internship and Apprenticeship opportunities. Our Internship and Apprenticeship Program provides career exploration opportunities and trains and develops individuals with specific skills necessary to maintain Prince William County assets. "FFMCareerEx" is a summer non-paid internship program for high school and college students.

The program provides participants with team-building exercises, resume preparation, career exploration, and job shadowing experiences to build the County’s future workforce through education and awareness opportunities about FFM’s operations and over fifty careers. Highlighted careers explored careers include:

- Administrative

- Architecture & Design

- Automotive

- Building Maintenance

- Construction Management

- Engineering

- Logistics

- Property Management
