Come One, Come All to Fire & Rescue’s Public Safety Expo

single news

This year’s Fire Prevention Week is Sunday, October 6 through Saturday, October 12. In years past, the Prince William County Fire & Rescue System (PWCFRS) has invited the public to celebrate Fire Prevention Week (FPW) during our Open House held at various fire and rescue stations throughout the county. That tradition will continue, however, this year, we decided to do something a little different and host an additional special event in honor of Fire Prevention Week — the inaugural PWCFRS All County Public Safety Expo.

This festive event will encompass various public safety agencies and organizations from across the county and region including Manassas City, Manassas Park, Quantico, Haymarket, Occoquan and Dumfries — just a few of the neighboring jurisdictions participating in this extraordinary event. Public safety agencies will be displaying various vehicles/apparatus including their more unique, technical pieces that are rarely seen by the public. In addition, the event will provide a variety of exhibitors to include local county and community agencies, interactive activities, music entertainment and food trucks.

This free family-friendly event will provide vital information and resources for all ages, in an effort to keep our communities, residents and visitors informed, educated and safe.
