Police Department Recognizes Member Promotions

On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, Police Chief Peter Newsham recognized several department members during a promotion ceremony. Since the last promotion ceremony, 22 sworn and professional staff listed below have been promoted and were given the opportunity to be recognized by department leadership, their peers, and loved ones at today’s ceremony. The ceremony was held at Grace Life Community Church in Bristow (20136). The Police Department takes great pride in supporting our members who have progressed in their careers and congratulates them on their achievements.

The Police Department would like to recognize the below sworn and professional staff members who were promoted:

• Lieutenant - Promoted to the rank of Police Lieutenant: Dimas Fragosa, Dennis Jensen and Matthew McCormick.
• First Sergeant - Promoted to the rank of Police First Sergeant: Joshua Grand, Jesse Hempen, Jennifer Ingraham, Nathaniel Probus and Daniel Seiff.
• Sergeant - Promoted to the rank of Police Sergeant: Michael Furr, Peter Inskeep, Joel Lewton, Erin Noble, Ame Stevens and Joseph Weller.
• Master Police Officer - Promoted to the rank of Master Police Officer: Jody Gillich, Sean Richards, Edwin Romero and Dana Russell.
• Professional Staff - Promoted within our Professional Staff: Travis Parks to Senior Human Resources Analyst; Robin Robinson to Senior Public Safety Analyst; Ashley Sanders to Animal Services Veterinarian Assistant; and Matthew Schultz to Animal Services Field Supervisor.
