2024 Hispanic Heritage Month Poetry Contest/Concurso de Poesía Mes de la Herencia Hispana 2024

September 15–October 15

Poets in grades 9–12, share your unique perspectives, stories, and experiences in verse during Hispanic Heritage Month. Express yourself in English, Spanish, or a blend of the many languages represented in Latin America. All types of poetry are welcome.

The winner will receive $100, with an honorable mention being awarded $50! Scan the QR code for complete competition rules.

This program is presented as part of Latino Poetry: Places We Call Home, a major public humanities initiative taking place across the nation in 2024 and 2025, directed by Library of America and funded with generous support from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Poetas en los grados 9 a 12 comparten sus perspectivas, historias y experiencias únicas en verso durante el Mes de la Herencia Hispana. Exprésese en inglés, español o una combinación de ambos idiomas mientras profundiza en temas de la cultura, identidad, historia y comunidad hispana y latina. Todo tipo de poesía es bienvenida.

¡El ganador del concurso recibirá $100, y se escogerá una mención honorífica que recibirá $50! Escanee el código QR para conocer las reglas completas de la competencia.
