The Department of Public Works requires all single family dwelling (SFD) building permits to post a lot grading inspection fee at the Permits counter at time of building permit issuance. This fee will cover the initial lot grading inspection only.
A per lot re-inspection fee will be required to be paid at prior to rescheduling rejected lot grading inspections regardless of the rejection reason. A Lot Grading Checklist has been developed to assist builders and developers with ensuring single family lots are ready for final lot grading inspection.
