Procurement Officer Assignment by Department
The Office of Procurement Services provides efficient, innovative, and responsive services to obtain goods, services, and construction through effective broad-based competition. We provide guidance and training to County departments to ensure compliance with laws and regulations while promoting transparency in the acquisition process.
The Office of Procurement Services is comprised of four areas:
Operational Procurement
The operations procurement team manages the procurement process for non-capital goods and services required by County departments.
Capital Procurement
The capital procurement team manages the procurement process for construction (capital/non-capital) and architectural and engineering professional services. This team works closely with department project managers on the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) project delivery.
Procurement Card Program
The procurement card team manages the County procurement card program, ensuring that all purchases are made in a manner consistent with the County’s Procurement Regulations and Procurement Card Policy.
Vendor Relations
The vendor relations team provides tools and resources to help vendors navigate the procurement process and conducts vendor outreach to increase awareness of contracting opportunities.
