Lisa Madron has more than 30 years of experience in social work, counseling and administration and has worked in private, public and non-profit agencies. Currently serving as Executive Director, Lisa has served as Deputy Director and the Community Support/Behavioral Health Division Manager with Prince William County Community Services for over 20 years.
Lisa has been an active participant with our Northern Virginia CSBs Regional Management Group and with the Virginia Association of Community Services Board (VACSB), representing PWC CSB and the northern Virginia region on numerous initiatives and committees, to include the VACSB’s Mental Health Council and the Public Policy Committee.
Prior to joining the CS, Lisa had extensive experience in community-based services in both the public and private sectors to include providing individual and family mental health and substance abuse therapy, clinical social work and supervision, directing therapeutic foster care services, directing child and adolescent residential treatment services, and private practice.
Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and Master of Arts in Developmental Psychology from George Mason University. Additionally, she is a Certified Cultural and Linguistic Competence Level I Facilitator, Certified Early Intervention Professional, Certified Public Manager, Certified Trauma Specialist, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified Addiction Counselor.
