The Mission of the New Horizons Program is to provide services to youth and their families with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring issues.  Services are provided to youth who are 18 or younger or are still enrolled in high school.  The goal of youth services is to provide an array of treatment and case management services of various intensities to support children, adolescents, and their families to address the behavioral health challenges they face, and gain the skills needed to build a bright future.

Youth services are provided across multiple settings including Community Services offices at our Manassas and Woodbridge locations, each of the local public high schools, criminal justice agencies, the Juvenile Detention Center, the youth’s home, and in the community.

Services provided to youth and their families include individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, hospital discharge planning, intensive in-home services, case management services, Family Assessment and Planning Team (FAPT) case management services, and Behavioral Health and Wellness Services.
