Update: Board of County Supervisors Meeting, April 18, 2023

During the public comment time at today's Prince William Board of County Supervisors meeting, a resident in attendance suddenly collapsed. The meeting was immediately recessed, and first responders were on-scene to provide medical assistance. The individual has been transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

We would like to extend our heartfelt concern and well wishes to the affected resident and their family during this difficult time. The health and safety of our community members are of paramount importance to the Board of County Supervisors, and we are committed to providing a safe environment for all attendees.

Out of respect for the individual's privacy and that of their family, no further information regarding their condition will be released at this time.

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors recessed the meeting and will reconvene on Thursday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m.
