Join us at our Fridays at 5 event on August 19 for live music, face painting, *food trucks and a beer garden.

Fridays at 5 is sponsored by VAStrEATS and Prince William County Parks, Recreation & Tourism.
The event will be headlined by Max Impact, the official rock/pop music ensemble of the United States Air Force. Stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., it is one of six musical ensembles that form The U.S. Air Force Band.

Historic Preservation Events
For history buffs or those who would like to learn more, the Prince William County Office of Historic Preservation will be holding several free events in September and October at Bristoe Station Battlefield Heritage Park and Lucasville School. If you’re looking to get an outdoor workout in for free, you should check out the unique fitness stations/equipment available at Neabsco Regional Park or get your heartrate up by taking a stroll on the beautiful Neabsco Creek Boardwalk.
For those looking for a challenge, our Warrior Challenge Course at Locust Shade Park is just for you.
Created in partnership between the Department of Defense and Prince William County, visitors of all ages can expect to test their strength and endurance on obstacles similar to those seen on the show, American Ninja Warrior. More than 20,000-square-feet await athletes of all levels with a mini version of the course nearby for children 2-years-old and up.
