March is the month to promote Severe Weather Awareness and Flood Awareness! Severe Weather Awareness Week is March 4 – 8, followed by Flood Awareness week March 10 – 16. Severe Weather Awareness Week highlights threats from severe weather and how to prepare for them. Each day during the week, a different topic will be covered and shared on the Prince William County Emergency Management Facebook and X social media including preparedness tips and ways to stay safe during severe weather.
