Prince William Human Rights Commission Seeking Nominations

It is time again to recognize individuals, nonprofit organizations and businesses in the community for their outstanding accomplishments in contributing to human rights in Prince William County.  

The Prince William Human Rights Commission is accepting nominations for this year’s Human Rights Awards, which will be presented at the annual Universal Human Rights Day to be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, in the Board Chambers of the James J. McCoart Building at 1 County Complex Court in Woodbridge.  

The Universal Human Rights Day celebration includes guest speakers and musical selections preceding presentations honoring award recipients.  

The deadline for submitting nominations is Dec. 9, 2023. Nominations may be mailed or delivered to the Human Rights Commission, 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, Suite 125, Woodbridge, VA 22191 or electronically by completing the Human Rights Nomination Form.
