Want to give your child a great summer camp experience? Our camps were once again voted “Best Summer Camps” for 2023 by readers of Northern Virginia magazine, through its annual reader poll.

This summer, our camp offerings are better than ever! Below are just some of the new camps being offered at a variety of locations throughout Prince William County. You can learn more about all of our summer camps here.  We encourage you to register sooner than later as our camp programs are very popular and fill up fast.

Teen Adventure Quest, Veterans Memorial Park – June 20-23

Teen Adventure Quest is available for Prince William County teens ages 12-15. This exploration and travel camp will get your teens engaged this summer with daily activities, excursions and entertainment. In addition to our traditional outdoor activities, each camp week has activities related to a weekly theme. These weekly themed activities provide opportunities for campers to learn and experience the real camp feel, lots of fun and much more! Campers will spend most of their time outdoors; however, indoor activities are planned for inclement weather days. In addition, field trips are included. Before and after care is available for an additional fee. Before care is 7:00am-9:00am ($30). After care is 5:00pm-6:00pm ($30).

Junior Scientists, Pat White Center at Ben Lomond – June 26-30

Grab your lab coat and goggles and get ready for some fun science experiments! Campers will make, discover, and test various science phenomena with hands-on experiments. Join us as we use science to explain the world around us!

Ride With a Ranger Camp, James Long Park – July 10-13

Hop on a bike and ride through James Long Park with a PWC Park Ranger. Campers will learn basic safety, equipment and riding techniques while pedaling through the park’s outdoor trails. Learn more and register your camper here.

Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) Camp, Pat White Center at Ben Lomond – July 17-21

Kids can join us for a week of fun as we investigate fictional crime scenes. Campers will use hands-on activities and games to solve various fun and engaging mysteries. Register today.

Brentsville History Camp, Brentsville Courthouse Historic Center – July 24-28

Have you ever wondered what it was like to live on a farm in the days of oil lamps? How about in a small Virginia town before the big highways came? What happened when people got into trouble in the 1800s? Answer these questions and more at Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre’s History Camp! Campers will explore a wide array of hands-on activities connected to Brentsville’s historic buildings including a farmhouse, school, courthouse, and jail, and have a series of adventures throughout the week that will introduce them to the ways people have lived in Prince William County from Native Americans to the present day.

Multi-sport Extravaganza, Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center – July 31-Aug. 4

Come out and test your skills in our multi-sport extravaganza! This camp will let you test out skills in basketball, track and field, soccer, hockey, kickball and t-ball through drills and exciting mini games each week. We will end each class with a scrimmage to show off all the talent.

New T-ball Skills Camp, Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center – Aug. 7-11

This camp is designed to help your athlete learn the basic skills to T-ball. We will work on the proper techniques of how to field a ground ball, catch a pop fly and how to swing a bat! These skills will help guide us to a fundamental scrimmage! Gloves and cleats are recommended.

Roblox, Imaginative Game Design, Pat White Center at Ben Lomond – Aug. 14-18

This camp is for intermediate skill level campers, ages 10-14. Campers will advance their coding, design, and game development skills using Roblox Studio and Lua programming. Campers will learn fundamental coding concepts and techniques that allow them to eventually move on to AP Computer Science or interest in careers as game developers or computer engineers.
