Fall is the perfect time for some disc golf! Have you visited the new 18-hole disc golf course at Forest Greens Golf Club yet? It’s a beauty and ready for you to come play. Thanks to the NOVA Disc Golf Association, Prince William County is now home to two disc golf courses, one in Lake Ridge and this new one in Triangle, Virginia. For those interested in playing at the course, please call 703-221-0123 or visit the clubhouse onsite at Forest Greens Golf Club.
Adapted Recreation
The first game of our Miracle League Program will take place on Saturday, August 19. The Miracle League brings the sport of baseball to youth and adults (ages 5-23) with mental or physical disabilities. It gives participants the opportunity to play baseball regardless of their ability so they can experience hitting a ball, throwing and catching, and of course scoring a run. Games are played on an accessible, custom-designed rubberized surface field at Miracle Field located at George Hellwig Park. Register today!
We also have adapted aqua zumba, basketball skills training program, adapted dance, art classes and more! Click here to see all we have coming up this fall.
Outdoor Fun
We’ve got several programs that take place outdoors so you can have fun and doing something active while enjoying the weather or just connect with nature. From adult kayaking, to hiking, to birding for beginners, you can find your next outdoor activity here and get registered today.
