Celebrate Parks & Recs Month with Us !

Join the Office of Community Safety, PWC Parks & Recreation, PWC Public Libraries, NOVA Mobile Entertainment, and Kona Ice to celebrate Parks and Recreation Month.

Attendees will be able to participate in OCS’ community art project, lawn games, and other fun activities for the entire family with PWC Parks and Recreation.

This year’s Park and Recreation Month theme “Where You Belong”, celebrates the many ways park and recreation professionals across the country foster a sense of belonging in their community by providing welcoming and inclusive programs, essential services for all ages and abilities, and safe, accessible spaces to build meaningful connection.

The National Recreation and Park Association Parks encourages agencies to showcase the ways they contribute to strong, vibrant and resilient communities all year, which lends to the Office of Community Safety’s Mission, Vision & Values; building safer, stronger communities TOGETHER.
