Enjoy a Nostalgic Movie Outdoors - FREE
Who’s ready to be transported back to the 80s! Join us on tonight, Friday, November 1, at Fairmont Park in Manassas to watch The Goonies! Be sure to arrive early to get a good seat. Movie will start at 7 pm. Please bring your own lawn chairs and blankets for seating. A parent or guardian must attend with children under the age of 16. Click here for all the details.
Go on a Family Hike
It's not too late to register to join us on Saturday morning (November 2, 10:30 am - 12 pm) for a guided family hike at James Long Park, with a naturalist to lead the way. Learn about the unique ecosystems of the forest and stream and the plants and animals that live there. This program is designed for children ages 6-10 to attend with a parent or guardian. Learn Some History and Experience Colonial Living - FREE
On Saturday, November 2, from 11 am - 3 pm, Rippon Lodge Historic Site welcomes all to experience a day full of colonial living history demonstrations focused on the Revolutionary War. Learn more about the formation of the Prince William County Independent Company of Cadets on November 11th, 1774. Meet civilian camp followers, enslaved soldiers, and indigenous scouts who were engaged in the March to Yorktown, enjoy making crafts, playing colonial era games, other living history activities, and more. Join a Step Class Recognizing Veterans - FREE
Veterans Day is coming up on November 11. Come out and connect with veterans and bring light to those who served our country at our “Vets Step Too” step aerobics class on Sunday, November 3, 12 - 1 pm. This is a free event but please register here.
