What will you be doing during this last weekend of summer? If you’re looking for activities to fill up your weekend, look no more! Join us for an outdoor concert or outdoor movie, catch a Miracle League game and cheer on our inspiring players, or check out our yard sale on Saturday morning. On Sunday, the first official day of fall, we encourage to shop at our award-winning Dale City Farmers Market to pick up locally grown or made food or goods. Did someone say apple cider donuts? Enjoy a Free Concert by the Quantico Marine Corps Band
On Friday, September 20, at 5 pm, join us for the last Fridays at 5 concert of the summer featuring the sounds of the incredible Quantico Marine Corps Band, along with opening act, the Brandon Moultrie & B Mo' Band. Established in 1918, the Quantico Marine Corps Band is one of the oldest professional musical ensembles in the Marine Corps. The band is comprised of a ceremonial band and concert band equipped to provide musical support as directed by the Commandant of the Marine Corps and the Commanding Officer of Marine Corps Installations National Capital Region-MCB Quantico.

Have an Outdoor Family Movie Night 
A family movie night in the park is the perfect way to enjoy a Friday night out under the stars. Come join us at Ben Lomond Park on Friday, September 20 to watch Inside Out 2! The event is free. The movie will begin at sunset so come early to get a good seat. Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for seating. No registration or ticket needed. All ages are welcome. A parent or guardian must attend with children under the age of 16.

Shop Our Yard Sale 
Stop by Pat White Center at Ben Lomond to shop our community yard sale! You never know what treasures you will find. The yard sale will run from 7 am to 1 pm, on Saturday, September 21.

Cheer on our Miracle League Team
Bring the whole family and come cheer on our Miracle League baseball team! We guarantee you will walk away feeling inspired by this special program and its participants. Games are free to watch and take place Saturdays at 9 a.m. at Dr. Richard Tami Miracle Field at Hellwig Memorial Park. (Last game of the season is September 28.)

Pick up Some Goodies at the Dale City Farmers Market
Open Sundays, from 8 am – 1 pm, April through November, our award-winning Dale City Farmers Market is a producer-only market, meaning all products must be grown or made by the seller. This is great news for both our buyers and our sellers as consumers have access to produce, meats, plants and other goods locally grown or created. For a full list of vendors, click here.

Before you head out to any of our parks or events be sure you download our new PWC RecMapper App!
