Virtual Event

Recognize Fentanyl Awareness Day by learning how to save a life.

Overdoses can happen in unexpected situations and to anyone: a friend, a family member, a coworker, at home, outside, or in a public place. You may not know that someone is at risk of overdose-everyone should be prepared.

Prince William County Community Services is offering free workshops that provide the knowledge and confidence you need to potentially save a life during an opioid overdose emergency. During this 60-minute class, presented by a qualified instructor from the Wellness and Prevention team, you will learn:

  • How to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose.
  • How to administer naloxone nasal spray to potentially reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.
  • Other knowledge needed to fully respond to an opioid overdose emergency (what to do and not do).

Please visit https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/_RH2p_aTSsqcBGgNF_zPMw to register.

Please contact [email protected] or 571-641-7019 with any questions. Registration will be confirmed via email.

Participants will receive naloxone nasal spray after completing the class.
