Join this educational workshop for an introduction to myofascial release, where we will perform massage rounds using props such as foam rollers, yoga blocks and balls to stretch and loosen the fascia buildup so that it and your muscles and joints can move more freely and restore and improve motion. Myofascial release is helpful in assisting muscle and skeletal mobility and lessening pain by relaxing contracted muscles while improving blood and lymphatic circulation and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles. Yoga Alliance Instructors can earn CEUs.
