Does your child aspire to become an animator for games and movies? In this class, participants will learn how characters move and look alive in movies and video games! They will be introduced to basic 2D and 3D animation techniques using Minecraft characters and stages. Participants will expand their perception, observation, and timing skills, as well as exercise their imagination and storytelling by studying motion in reality; then applying it to animation. Participants will learn how animators work by completing a variety of short animation exercises and projects. They will apply acting theories and animation principles to scenes they create. This is a full-day camp, campers must bring their own lunch, water bottle, and a snack.
