Prince William County Revolutionary War Roster

This roster includes the names of veterans and their personal connections to Prince William County, including those who either were born or enlisted in the county. The resource details the captains, commanders, or regiments that veterans recall joining, with another column for any regiments inferred by further research. Further, the roster includes veteran service terms, burial locations, and associated source material and notes. The most complete roster is available as an Excel document (please note that there are three separate tabs in the document: roster, statistics, and index); a PDF with more limited information is also linked below.

GIS Map

This map shows the known burial locations of Prince William County Revolutionary War veterans. The map is not comprehensive, as burial locations were located and linked for roughly 1/3 of the individuals on the roster.
