Behavioral health issues can affect your daily life in many profound ways. It can also make getting treatment and maintaining independence a challenge. Prince William County Community Services offer the following services to assist in getting the treatment and help you need.
Case Management services are offered to individuals who have a serious mental illness and provide links for services and supports that can enhance recovery, promote community integration and assist individuals in reaching their goals.
Individual, group and family therapy is offered for individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring issues who want to develop skills and achieve their goals.
Individuals with serious mental illness who are in state psychiatric hospitals are provided services that help their transition to community-based services.
Center based psychiatric and associated nursing services are provided in conjunction with case management services. The services focus on psychiatric evaluation and treatment of individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders. These services, provided through a treatment team, promote recovery and enhanced quality of life.
GOT treatment services identify and treat adolescents and young adults (ages 16-25), who may be experiencing early signs of psychosis. The programs focuses on school, work, independent living and enjoying healthy relationships.
PATH services are provided to individuals with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless.
