Prince William Board of County Supervisors Proclaims May as Foster Care Month

In fiscal year 2021, the Prince William County Department of Social Services placed 101 children in custodial foster care with 92 local foster care families who assumed the responsibilities of providing adequate care and love for them when their own families were unable to do so.
The Prince William Board of County Supervisors recently recognized foster parents for their positive influence on foster children and their personal commitment to those children and proclaimed May 2022 as Foster Care Month.
The board also proclaimed its continued support of foster parents who help the children and families of the community.
