The new Prince William Farmers Market, held every Thursday between 3 and 7 p.m., at Pfitzner Stadium, at 7 County Complex Court, is open for business with nearly 40 vendors scheduled to attend.
At the beginning of the pandemic, the Prince William Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism moved the Dale City Farmers Market to the Pfitzner Stadium parking lot to allow for social distancing.
In April 2021, once safety protocols allowed, the Dale City Farmers Market, which is open Sundays between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., moved back to 14050 Gemini Way in Dale City, but popular demand called for a farmer’s market to remain at the stadium.
The Prince William Farmers Market gives commuters a weekday option to shop for fresh cut flowers, fruits and vegetables in season, baked goods, jams, jellies and more on their way home from work.
