New App Gives You Access to the Library Anytime from Anywhere

Prince William Public Libraries is launching a new mobile app to make it even easier to find your next read, see upcoming events and programs, and reserve a group study room. Download the app for free by searching “Prince William Public Library” on the App Store and Google Play. Once downloaded, the app offers user-friendly navigation on the following features:

Explore the Online Catalog: Search the catalog, check availability, and reserve titles in real-time.

Digital Library Features: If you’re looking for more library resources, our Digital Library offers more titles on the Libby, by OverDrive and hoopla apps, and links to our complete Digital Library on our website.

Plan Your Events Schedule: Browse upcoming events by Age Group, Event Type, and Date Range. For events requiring registration, you can easily register on the app; even better, it will automatically populate your contact information. Less typing!

Reserve a Room: Say you’re out and about and need a quiet space to study. Now you can book a group study room on the go. As long as there’s space available at your library, you can be in a study room in minutes.

Scannable Library Card: You forgot your library card at home and are ready to check out? No problem! Pull up the app and click “My Card” for a scannable library card. For iPhone users: Add your library card to Apple Wallet with just one click.
