The Prince William County Office of Procurement Services invites all current vendors and prospective vendors looking to do business with the county to participate in the “How to Do Business with Prince William County” virtual workshop on Thursday, March 28, from 2-3:30 p.m.
The virtual workshop will cover the following topics:
“The workshop is designed to give vendors an understanding of Prince William County’s procurement process,” said Shana Terry, the county’s Chief Procurement Officer. “It is also designed to guide vendors on how to become registered vendors and most effectively present their capabilities for consideration to do business with the county.”
Vendors provide a wide range of goods and services to the county that include janitorial services, construction equipment, clothing and uniforms, road construction, computer software and hardware, furniture, architects, banking services and much more to support the county’s mission.
“Having a diverse supplier network helps increase competition and ensure the county is achieving the best value for taxpayer dollars and quality services are delivered to residents,” Terry said.
Vendors must register for the workshop by selecting the date and time and entering their email address. After registration, a link to join the workshop will be emailed before the event. Vendors are encouraged to submit questions in advance using the Vendor Question Submission Form.
