We are currently accepting intern applications for the Spring 2025 semester.
The Sheriff's Office offers an Intern Program to students enrolled in an Administration of Justice Program or law enforcement-related program at any college or university. You must be a rising Junior or Senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The Intern Program offers hands-on experience to help students learn the realities of their career selections while earning academic credit hours and developing professional field training skills. The duties are of a professional nature, and include experience in a wide range of law enforcement activities, including processing civil papers, observing the execution of levies and evictions, observing Court cases and working in our fugitive division, along with a tour of the Prince William County Adult Detention Center and time with our Magistrate's Office.
Our intern program is an excellent opportunity to learn first hand about the judicial system and gain work experience in a professional setting. If you are interested in the Sheriff's Office Intern Program, contact First Sergeant Todd at 703-792-5442.
