Residential Plan Review Requirements

Residential Walk-Through Building Plan Review:

This process is for the review of a Residential Deck without any roof covering. Reviews are conducted 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday through Friday.

All building plans are required to be submitted via Prince William County’s ePortal system. Consult the Customer Electronic Plan Review (ePlans) Guide for information on how to prepare and submit documents for electronic plan review and the electronic plan review guide for building ePlan submission guidelines

Residential Expedited Plan Review Process:

Owner/Agent Waiver Form

Engineer/Architect Waiver Form

Single Family Dwelling, Townhouse & Additions Cover Sheet

For Building a Residential Deck with Prince William County's Typical Residential Deck Design, plans are reviewed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
