Prince William County, Va— This winter, couples can celebrate their love in a unique and intimate setting in the picturesque Town of Occoquan. On Friday, December 13, 2024, the Prince William County Circuit Court Clerk, Jacqueline Smith, in collaboration with the Town of Occoquan, will host “Seal the Deal,” a special event for civil celebrant weddings and vow renewals.

Nestled along the scenic Occoquan River and just 20 miles south of Washington, D.C., Occoquan is renowned for its vibrant community and charming riverfront views. Recognized as a Prince William County top tourist destination, this town offers a perfect backdrop for a memorable celebration. With nearly 100 small and family-owned businesses, including award-winning restaurants, art galleries, spas and unique boutiques. Occoquan provides an enchanting setting for a marriage.

The “Seal the Deal” occasion intends to be an afternoon of elegant courthouse-style ceremonies, allowing couples to exchange vows in the cozy ambiance of the Occoquan Town Hall. The event is designed to bring together couples and the community in a celebration of love and unity.

Couples and guests are encouraged to visit local artisans and mingle at the Town’s Firelight festival after their ceremonies.
