Prince William has partnered with LEAP (Local Energy Alliance Program) to bring Solarize Virginia to our residents. After signing up, you’ll get a free solar satellite assessment, discounted solar system pricing and vetted installers.

Why Go Solar?

In addition to being a great way to save the environment, making the transition to solar energy also saves you money. In 2023, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) increased the tax credit for solar energy improvements from 22% to 30%.

When is the program available?

Solarize Virginia is time limited, the 2024 signups were open from April 1st through June 30th 2024. We encourage members of the community to sign up when the 2025 signups open at https://www.solarizeva.org/.

Webinars

Solarize Virginia is committed to being informative, educational, and transparent. As such, Solarize Virginia hosted virtual info sessions in 2024 on April 9th @12pm, May 15th @6pm, and June 3rd @3pm. Participants will be able to register for next year's info sessions and can keep up to date at www.solarizeva.org/events.
