DECEASED: Milton Humberto ESCALANTE ESCOBAR, age 18
DATE OF CALL: October 27, 2022
LOCATION: 13900 block of Richmond Highway, Woodbridge
On October 27, 2022 at 10:24 p.m., officers responded to the 13900 block of Richmond Highway in Woodbridge to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The investigation revealed an altercation took place in a wooded area behind the business involving the victim. The suspect reportedly fled in a vehicle after the shooting. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Bureau are continuing to investigate this case. The Police Department is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved in this death. Currently, no arrests have been made.
